Leidos has appointed Theodore “Ted” Tanner Jr. as chief technology officer, succeeding Jim Carlini, who has held the role since 2019. Tanner will officially assume the position on Jan. 5 and will be responsible for driving advancements in artificial intelligence, mission-critical software, cybersecurity and quantum technologies, Leidos said Monday.
