State Department OKs Egypt’s $740M Request to Purchase RTX Stringer Missiles

Egypt has secured approval from the U.S. State Department to acquire 720 Stringer missiles and other equipment and services under the Foreign Military Sales program.  The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday the potential deal is estimated to cost $740 million, citing RTX (NYSE: RTX) as the principal contractor.  Egypt plans to deploy the munitions
