The House on Thursday night turned down a stopgap spending measure backed by President-elect Donald Trump in a 174-235 vote, The Wall Street Journal reported. The revised legislation proposed funding the government through March 14, suspending the debt ceiling until January 2027 and providing more than $100 billion in funds for disaster relief and financial
