General Dynamics NASSCO has secured $1.7 billion from the U.S. Navy to construct T-AO 215 and T-AO 216 vessels for the John Lewis-class fleet replenishment oiler program. The General Dynamics business unit said Monday the work falls under its $6.75 billion multi-ship contract awarded in 2024, covering the delivery of eight oilers, spanning T-AO 214 through T-AO 221.
