The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded six companies positions on a $5 billion contract to provide integrated weapons systems equipment and services for Virginia-class submarines and active surface ships. The Department of Defense said Friday DLA Land and Maritime launched a competitive acquisition process and received nine offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The awardees are:
