Omos vowed to hand Rey Mysterio the greatest beating of his lifetime at TripleMania 34 in Las Vegas after a heated AAA suspension storyline.
Omos is one of the biggest men on the WWE roster, but he has not been seen in a WWE ring in two years as he’s taken on new projects and has used his stature to inflict pain at other promotions.
He had a brief run at Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan before he made his debut at AAA’s Triplemania 33 last year, winning the Bardahl Cup and firmly cementing himself as a force to be reckoned with in Mexico.

Omos told OutKick Dropkick in an interview before his match against Rey Mysterio at TripleMania 34 in Las Vegas on Friday night that he had no qualms about joining AAA after his run in Japan.
“No, not at all. I think, me coming to AAA, I had a chance to go to Japan last year for Pro Wrestling Noah and I think that prepared me for AAA,” he said. “Going out there, experiencing a new culture, speak little-to-no Japanese but being able to immerse myself in that wrestling culture, which is all the same boat. It’s also very unique in its own ways. It was a phenomenal experience so I think that helped me.”
In the last few weeks, Omos got himself suspended from AAA for his eruption at Mysterio – who is the AAA general manager. The feud continued earlier this month when Omos showed up as a paid spectator in the crowd, but ended up getting involved in the action any way.

Omos will have a chance to earn his roster spot back on Friday night during Night 1 of Triplemania 34 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
“I am excited to hand out the greatest a— whooping of this lifetime to Rey Mysterio. I am thrilled,” Omos vowed.
Mysterio is one of the greatest WWE stars of all time and arguably the greatest Luchador in Lucha Libre history. For Omos, none of the superlatives matter.
“No, I don’t give a damn. It doesn’t matter, no,” he said. “Not even in the slightest.”
As AAA commentator Corey Graves put it earlier this week, Omos and Mysterio are writing a true David and Goliath story and it is sure to live up to the hype
