Verizon Secures $176M DHS Contract for Emergency Telecom, Wireless Priority Services

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) has secured a $176 million contract to provide the Department of Homeland Security with government emergency telecommunications service and wireless priority service. Verizon Business will perform communications support work over the 10-year period of the contract from the Emergency Communications Division of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the company said Tuesday.
